James Andrew – Linen and Louboutin – photo by Drew Villani
There is something so fresh and cool about a linen ensemble – both figuratively and literally – and that can be a big plus in the summer heat! I’ve found myself quite inspired by an image I have of the Duke of Windsor wearing espadrilles and his characteristic riot of pattern and color for a stroll in the South of France. In my ongoing efforts to maintain some degree of sartorial splendor – even on more casual days – I’ve acquired a lovely pair of Louboutin sandal/espadrilles, which lend a dressed down/dressed up kind of casual chic to any of my warm weather ensembles.
For my linen and Louboutin look I’m wearing a Tom Ford era white linen jacket and turquoise, purple, black and white linen plaid shirt, Tom Ford black linen sateen pants, vintage Pucci pocket square, Ralph Lauren purple alligator belt with sterling buckle, Louboutin sandal/espadrilles, Tom Ford “Marco” sunglasses, vintage Rolex watch, and my fragrance is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.
Great look James… I could never get enough linen!
Hi there CJ Dellatore,
Thank You!
Linen is the most perfect fabric choice for Summer!
Cheers

I like the way you chopped yourself in half- with the high contrast-
Yes Dean- but brought the black up to the top with the black sunglasses!

Here is what I have to say!
One can only “chop oneself in half (if one has very long legs!!!) (and it will look good”!!!
Yowzers! James…….got the visual……and this is a “gift that only God gives”
He knew the black goes up to the sunglasses! The eye travels!
He is in the 2%! We already knew that……I am just learning about “Why”!
I am not even sure “James” knows all of his “God-given gifts!!!”
I can tell him! I was blessed with a mother who told me (I thought (as most children do; that the things I could do; all children could “do”!!
Thanks be to God that I had a mother who explained to me…..that I could “visualize” (2% of the population) ; people had ” color memory”…(also 2 %!
What a gift she gave me!
identifying “gifts”!!
