Circular tables with centered pedestals are great for sitting lots of people comfortably – They are also quite effective when used to balance a room that may otherwise have become a bit too rigid. I’m particularly fond of this 1970’s dining table by Paul M. Jones. Its nickle rod base and black granite top give this piece a high glam quality. Complimented by a couple of my signature Louis XVI oval back chairs this piece would absolutely sing. In fact, I’ve been considering just such an ensemble for my new office to serve in a dual purpose dining/conference capacity. Still in production, Jones’ lovely sculptural work is available in a variety of stone materials and finishes at the fantastic John Boone showroom.
I’m wearing a pieced cognac colored suede jacket, western shirt in a white, charcoal and gray plaid, gray wool flannel pants, chartreuse python belt with silver double horse head buckle all by Gucci, silver leather sneakers by Dior and Tom Ford sunglasses. Green tote with leather trim gift from Range Rover.
