FOUR SEASONS SUMMER HOLIDAY PART 2

I’m dressed to celebrate our last evening at the Four Seasons Surf Club with a farewell dinner at Le Sirenuse Miami in a Tom Ford Ivory linen sateen suite, linen voile royal blue gingham shirt, royal and ivory silk dot print pocket square, blue silk brocade evening slippers, Cartier Tank Divan, and my fragrance is Creed Windsor

A few long, languid, and luxurious days are just what we needed, and the Four Seasons Surf Club provided us with the most sublime backdrop. We really had no desire to leave the property as everything one could possibly want was already there! Winston Churchill once proclaimed as a guest at the legendary Surf Club: “I just want a little sun, solitude, serenity, and something to eat and perhaps something to drink.” We are quite confident that the statesmen’s needs were more than met!

The Surf Club archive is not simply the story of The Surf Club; it’s a tale of America itself, a gorgeous parade of lost evenings that makes you ache with longing for a time when people dressed for dinner, smoked and drank heedlessly, and never ever broke their aesthetic stride in their pursuit of a good time.
– From Tom Austin’s Assouline book: The Surf Club

All this being said, I did want to get into the spirit of things when the Surf Club was a place where people would dress up, so every night I did indeed dress up for dinner and had great fun in my tropical fineries!

Dressed for a pre-dinner cocktail at the Le Sirenuse Miami Champagne Bar, then off to dinner in Coral Gables with legendary aesthete Juan P Luria. I am sporting a linen guayabera, by Debra Torres, Tom Ford floral pants, Ralph Lauren white leather driving shoes, Cartier Tank Divan watch, my fragrance Tom Ford Mandarino Di Amalfi

We did have one irresistible invitation from the legendary aesthete Juan P. Luria that drew us away from our digs to dine in Coral Gables where Luria served us the most delicious food, accompanied by endless glasses of champagne and wine. All was served with elegant china, crystal, and silver. Of course the topic of discussion revolved around beauty in all its forms. It was a magical evening.

We returned to Le Sirenuse on our last night for a fabulous farewell Miami dinner. We just couldn’t get enough of the Sersale’s brilliance! It is certainly one of the chicest places in Florida if not all of the US.

We booked an early evening flight from Miami to return to New York which gave us almost a full day to soak up a few more moments of luxury. It was a most perfect summer holiday and we cannot wait to return!
