DOMINICA ON WINDSTAR’S WINDSURF

It’s a magical thing to set sail at night and find oneself in the morning, anchored at a new and exotic port of call! And the smallish size of Windsurf allowed access to some of the more remote and less travelled island.

One such stop was Dominica, a tropical island replete with lush rainforest. While there, we arranged to visit the magnificent Trafalgar Falls – which involved a short hike through the island’s glorious south-central interior.

We also visited Champagne Reef, but sadly the rain had stirred up the sea so we were unable to snorkle – but no matter, we treated ourselves to a delightful luncheon at a charming little place there.

Having had a full day on Dominica we motored back out to Windsurf in time for cocktails and dinner. Then back to sea for our next destination: St Lucia!

As we departed Dominica the sun was beginning to set with the most beautiful light. I’m sporting a Tom Ford ivory linen sateen suit, royal dot print shirt, cobalt and white silk scarf, royal and white silk pocket square, robe belt by Orlebar Brown, vintage Rolex, royal blue suede espadrilles, and my fragrance is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.

It is such a long time since I last read a post from you. I am glad to see that you are still looking so young (it is a good idea to shave your beard) . We had a wonderful exhibition about Oscar Wilde in Paris, thanks to his grandson Merlin Holland, and I think that you have something in common with Dorian Gray. Have a nice year 2017, best wishes to Scott and you. Marc

    Hello Marc Soleranski,

I am thrilled to have you back!

Yes I do indeed look a bit younger with out my beard – when I shaved- people would ask if I had an older brother.

    I Jadore Oscar Wilde!!!

Many of told me I am a tad Dorian Gray – so thank you!

The year is off to a sublime start- rather busy starting new projectes etc.

I hope these will bring me much needed funds to visit your great city!

    All my best

    JA
