I tend to dress up a bit more while in town, generally going for a more elegant look—jackets most days, and ties quite often.
However, if I do decide to wear something more casual, I still make an effort to put together a look that is interesting, cohesive and chic. There is some debate amongst those who care regarding the appropriateness of shorts for gentlemen in the city, but I feel that as long as shorts are done tastefully (and one is not attending an important meeting or event) they can work quite well–rules, after all, are there to be broken!
Of course I’ll offset those shorts with a blazer or jacket and some fabulous shoes as I did recently on a lovely afternoon in my favorite little oasis, Paley Park. Here I’m sporting a Gucci navy safari jacket, Rag and Bone V-Neck shirt in indigo paisley, navy and white micro check linen shorts by Lavo and blue and white gingham tasseled loafers by Hadleigh’s, rock crystal pendants from Las Dalias Hippie Market and my fragrance Iperborea by Lorenzo Villoressi.
My friend, once again, well done!
A casual look that is definitely well put together!
As you know, I am obsessed with Gucci – the safari jacket you have on is amazing.
Do me a favor? Look me up when you get tired of the jacket and the tasseled loafers!!!
Two thumbs up!
would love to be inside those clothes
Well Jon K and Ramsay,
Perhaps I should have an online boutique to sell off the clothes I am not wearing anymore.
Thanks for your brilliant comments.
Cheers

I have always admire Hadleighs. I certainly hope they can offer their products in a few other stores here on the East Coast.
