The Upper East Side Creel and Gow is perhaps one of the chicest boutiques to open in New York City in years.
Here, the super-sophisticated duo, Jamie Creel and Christopher Gow, have taken a life-long love of collecting to curate the most marvelous mix of exotic and sublime. In the homogenized retail world we live in today, I can tell you, it’s hugely refreshing to find a resource for such original decorative pieces. There is something for everyone here—objects to “embellish one’s life,” as Creel and Gow aptly put it, that’ll surely bring a sense of fantasy, whimsy, and personality to any fine interior. Needless to say, decorators are having a field day here, and despite the over-the-top fabulousness of it all, many of their treasures are remarkably well priced!

The Creel and Gow boutique
Their boutique brings to mind visions of a Parish Hadley lux interior interpreted through the musings of a modern dayTony Duquette – it’s a veritable cabinet of curiosities…where everything is for sale!

At Creel and Gow
As an added convenience for our friends around the world, Creel and Gow is available online for your consideration at: www.creelandgow.com
On a recent shopping spree at Creel and Gow (top), I’m sporting a Tom Ford rustic charcoal wool silk mouline priest hat, tweed “country jacket” with leather buttons and brown suede elbow patches, emerald plaid cotton shirt with French cuffs, teal wide wale corduroy pants, teal and blue silk pocket square and brown leather tasseled loafers, aquamarine and diamond cuff links, Gucci python belt with silver buckle and my fragrance is Creed Royal-Oud.
Fab space. And equally stunning merchandise.
This is different, great combination. Be aware James – I so gonna steal those shoes 😉
Mr Tjaden,
A stunning selection to be sure!
Peruse the website for a glimpse.
Cheers and Thank You!

My Dear Leo,
I am thankful we are not the same shoe size, although I do fear for the safety of the rest of my closet.
Hugs,

OMG!!! I went into this store two weeks ago when I was in New York City…… chicest space and merchandise I have seen anywhere. Love your outfit as always James!
Oh my. I love the exotics. McBee’s safari collection would fit nicely!

I like your style James. I don’t know why but as i look your outfit it reminds me about Monte Carlo, casinos and bohemian lifestyle.
Hello Paul,
Thank You!
I love the sound of that- Monte Carlo , casinos and a bit of Boheme Lux.
Cheers

Lordy! How did I miss this? Yikes! I finally discovered it, searching for a LouLou de la Falaise necklace I spied on Instagram! @Ariederavenal showed it; and I was obsessed! She told me it was at Creel and Gow. Yowzers. I was in NYC for 4 days with my daughter and granddaughter (stayed at the Metropolitan Club) and had no time to see one single person…..SOB!!
Anyway, went to Creel and Gow. Yikes. It was Charlotte Moss, Mish, Slatkin…..Lordy. Chicest store ever. I couldn’t figure out why I had never heard of it.
Because I missed your post! Duh! And it used to be called Rosetti and Gow…..and I got a chic present from Barbara Cates from it. You probably saw it here!
XXXXOOO
We are back in our house. Our lane looks like Syria. I am not exaggerating. Most houses gone. We are the only ones living on our lane.
We are so delighted to be home. Dogs are all fine. We are lucky to be alive!
My Darling Penelope Bianchi,
So sorry to have missed you!
Creel and Gow is no doubt the chicest little boutique in town!!!!
Much Love
JA
