Be a Star

James Andrew

James Andrew

We are all intended to shine like the bright stars that we are!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

- Marianne Williamson

Some of us may have been taught not to draw attention to ourselves, and that it’s not polite to talk about ourselves — rather, it would be better to simply blend in. As an antidote to those awful little voices telling us to be “less than,” I thought to share Marianne Williamson’s inspiring words — I don’t know about you, but they elate my spirit and make me to want to be the very best version of myself that I can be! They make me want to think big and to indulge those outrageous dreams and fantasies I have. You might be feeling that way as well? Get busy then, and let your light shine — and perhaps inspire others to be their best selves as well…have a blast doing it!

Being fabulous in a perfectly elegant casual Summer ensemble, I’m sporting a Tom Ford era black linen denim jacket, kelly green cotton shirt, Tom Ford “Regency” pants in pink & green silk cotton madras check, black, white, and silver leather loafers by Gucci, vintage Rolex watch, antique moon stone cuff links, Charvet pink and white retro print silk pocket square,Tom Ford “Marco” sunglasses and my fragrance is is Eau d’Italie’s Paestum Rose.

There are times when we all need to get away… to drink from a new fountain and to bathe in refreshing waters…and to bask in the warm reflective glare of Mediterranean seas…. That time, my dear James has come for you! T’will put a smile back on your face… a spring in your step and… joy in your heart… I’m sounding like the leprechaun from the Irish Spring, so I’ll be off, depart….x D

    Dear Danny,

I do indeed need to get away!

I am on my way to Palm Beach this morning, not Capri, but alas a change of scenery.

    Cheers

    James,
I just have to point out that you look ten years younger without facial hair. You are very handsome but clean shaven really becomes you. It also makes you look more approachable and friendly. I have read in various publications online and off that you are wonderfully cordial and nice. However, some of your photos do not portray your personality apparently. I do not mean to be disrespectful in any way. I think your site is great. This photo of you above is really becoming and flattering. I am sorry by the way and I know it was a while ago for the loss of your two greyhounds. I have an Italian greyhound named Silvia Olivia who is one year old.

    My Dear Suzanne,

Thank You for your fabulous feedback!

I am one to always welcome an honest and open dialogue – so I certainly take anything you have to say from a perspective of love and light.

There are many different sides of me and hopefully even the ones that appear to be less than friendly I hope are more based on perception than on anything that I try to convey.

Yes- I am still recovering from the loss of my whippets Rupert and Nigel- sight hounds are the best and I am so happy to hear that your Silvia Olivia is providing you with all the wonderful love that these creatures are so famous for giving so freely.

    All the best

    JA
