A brunch at Les Ambassadeurs is the perfect thing to fortify one before a day of exploration, and this legendary 18th century rococo room at the Crillon certainly sets the mood for our next intended destination – Versailles! Les Ambassadeurs has drawn high society and artists alike to its hallowed tables since the nineteenth century – and now as ever, it continues to delight and inspire.

Yes, I’m wearing my favorite Gucci leather jacket again, but we were only in Paris for a couple of full days – we’ll try to mix it up a bit more on our next trip! I’m also wearing a shocking pink shirt with contrast white collar and cuffs by Turnbull and Asser, black pearl cufflinks by Seaman Schepps, gray Maison Martin Margiela jeans, belt in black patent leather with silver leather trim and grommets by Gucci, Tom Ford loafers in black and saddle leather, KVA for Oliver Peoples sunglasses and my fragrance is Creed Windsor.

Hôtel de Crillon Revisited

Coming back to bring you a bit more from the unsurpassed Hôtel de Crillon, hosts to WIJW’s Paris jaunt.

Despite the obvious and almost overwhelming grandeur of this most beautiful “palace” hotel, there is a certain intimacy about the experience – a certain unpretentious comfort conveyed in every aspect of the place, from the calm confidence of the staff, to the bright and airy rooms, to the luxuriously quiet patio, serene lounge areas, and first-class dining – everything hearkens back to a day when understated elegance and sophistication were the norm.

A stay at the Crillon is one of those elevated experiences that could only be born from centuries of refinement and the inherent assuredness gained through its association with major historical figures like Marie Antoinette, Churchill, and Roosevelt and many countless cultural icons like Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie O.

Whether you are in the mood for a Kir Royale at the bar, a simple lunch on the patio, or something a bit more grand at Les Ambassadeurs, the Crillon will not disappoint. We particularly enjoyed tea served in the Winter Garden – a perfect moment to recharge after a long day’s galavant.

Please do stay at the Crillon on your next Paris holiday!

I’m wearing (top) a dove gray cotton jacket by Gucci, white cotton shirt with french cuffs and silk pocket square in pinks and white by Tom Ford, Seaman Schepps precious turquoise cuff links, shocking pink jean cut pants by Dior, silver chain link belt by Gucci, Cartier “Tank Divan” from Raj Tolaram, sneakers and glasses by Lanvin, and my fragrance is Creed Windsor.

La Société

La Societe is no doubt one of the most popular restaurants in Paris. French design icon Christian Liagre creates an elegant balance between classic and contemporary elements in this sleek loungy interior. A well chosen and diverse array of the finest of fine art, a superb menu, and good company, all conspired to make the ultimate in glam-Paris-chic evenings for WIJW here at La Société.

I’ve freshened up my look for dinner with a white and turquoise striped cotton shirt with contrast collar and cuffs from Turnbull and Asser and a mist of Creed Windsor.
