James Andrew at the Musée Rodin.
After our unbelievably good lunch at Arpege we headed across the street to the former Hotel Biron where the artist Rodin once resided, and which now houses the Musée Rodin.

On the grounds of the Musée Rodin.
Rodin broke the classical conventions of his day, bringing his art firmly into new, highly expressive, and deeply personalized territory – many now consider him the godfather of modern sculpture. Towards the end of his life, Rodin agreed to bequeath his entire body of work to the state under the condition that it would be incorporated into a permanent museum at Hotel Biron. Sadly Rodin died only two years before his dream was realized, but thankfully we now can reap the rewards of a lifetime of work collected together and displayed beautifully throughout the expansive grounds of this really grand location.
I must say the place inspired me to visions of grandeur – which probably shouldn’t surprise you. As you may have noticed, this is the direction my visions tend to take me!
What a beautiful and peaceful place. It could be your house James! The garden here is wondeful!
So beautiful. Could make a list 101 reasons to live in France!
Truly a wonderful place, thanks for jogging the memory. Love your shoes.

lovely picture of you, great view of the Museum!
My dear James, please be advised that the style of jacket you’re wearing went out of favour 30, give or take, years ago. It is what was once referred to as a “Member’s Only” jacket.
Your mention in another post that this, a style of clothing that even the most fashion clueless in Amerika knows not to wear, is one of your favorite jackets, inspires me to contemplation in regards to what point visions become delusions?
Hello Hideous,
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts.
I celebrate our diverse ideas and opinions. It’s hard to please everyone all of the time, so I always choose what pleases me.
Cheers
James
