James Andrew and Lalanne

James Andrew and a sculpture by Les Lalannes

I’m so enthralled with the Lalanne exhibition on Park avenue that I’m bringing you a bit more – a giant cabbage with chicken feet! – perhaps you absolutely HAVE to have one of these? One need go no further than the uber chic Paul Kasmin gallery to indulge your deepest Lelanne desires. I’m so taken with this “Choupatte (Très Grande)” that I’m asking the gallery if they can commission a scaled down sterling version to act as a centerpiece on my dining table – would definitely be a fun alternative to my Dodie Thayer lettuce tureen and under-plate.

Admiring this surrealist fantasy, I’m wearing a navy velvet jacket by Gucci, Batistoni navy and white silk polka dot pocket square, Dolce and Gabanna teal cashmere turtleneck sweater, tweed multi colored plaid pants in grays, black, teal, and forest by Gucci, turquoise/teal suede Lanvin sneakers, and Dior sunglasses.

Had to ponder this one. Would the artist be willing to lettuce shrink it down to a centerpiece on a dining room table or would they chicken out?? Your outfit still blue me away. Cheer’s Homer.
