I found myself adrift for quite some time in this pool…shifting my gaze between the impossible immensity of a doubled sky, and the equally fascinating gently morphing form of the Casa….
There are so many brilliant facets to Casa Kimball – really too many to mention here, but one of the most gasp inducing components has got to be the infinity pool. It is no less than 156 ft of reflective poetry – a glassy rippling almost invisible alter to the elements that blurs, no, obliterates the lines between villa, ocean, and the unobstructed expanse beyond. To say that the effect is sublime is completely inadequate, too cliche – one is simply reduced to a natural and direct appreciation of pure light and color.
Innovation abounds here though and the initial impression of the simplicity of the pool belies a highly considered and brilliantly designed array of graded depths, so when one is feeling perhaps a bit less contemplative one can move from a very shallow six inch basking/standing area to a water vollyball depth to a lap and diving depth.
I found myself adrift for quite some time in this pool, tunes in the air, cocktails afoot, shifting my gaze between the impossible immensity of a doubled sky, and the equally fascinating gently morphing form of the Casa.
There are many hidden terraces at Casa Kimball and an exquisite hot tub as well, perfect for a romantic rendezvous or perhaps a solitary moment – I’ll let you discover all of these beautiful terraces when you visit! – My sunrise walk often took me to one of these – I can tell you that sitting at the edge of an early dawn Atlantic here at Casa Kimball definitely inspires a deep and lasting sense of joy and gratitude.
I’m wearing a Balenciaga white and black silk/cotton micro stripe shirt with a drawstring neck, royal blue cotton pants by Gucci, a black patent leather belt with silver leather trim and grommets also by Gucci, Louboutin sandal/espadrilles and sunglasses by Dior.
James, How brilliant ! I would love to stay at Casa Kimball, if only for a week… then I could check out Oscar’s house and Bunny’s too ! Images are most serene.

Oh James, I have an idea for your paper doll. You should make idyllic backdrops for your doll as well! This is because you dress so supremely for your setting – I think that would add another lovely dimension. Casa Kimball should absolutely be featured – this place is stunning!
Dear James,
I´m totally seduced by the idea of spending the whole day at the pool area, having some cocktails and reading a good book. I guess that is how paradise looks like…….I can´t wait to see your next post.
Best Regards,
Mag
James, What a great introduction to Jasmit Rangr.
BTW, you look forever young.
Hey James,
What an awesome outfit you are wearing! I would describe it as “fabelhaft” in german words. I´m impressed, Casa Kimball has so many things to offer for a perfect vacation at the sea…….I wish you a very nice weekend.
Hugs,
Christian
James we could think we’re in paradise with the landscape and that you’re God! So perfect!
James,
A friend told me about this blog. I found it really amazing, you should have your own TV show.
