He named his look “New Trad” which he defined as good English and French furniture of the 18th century combined with useful furniture of any period and century. His legacy lives on through the Bennison showrooms. Here you will find a vast assortment of hand-printed fabrics and wall coverings based on original 18th and 19th century English and French textiles.

I love this antique wing back chair showcasing a patchwork of Bennison fabrics. Also of particular note is the above-the-door shelf detail and display of oriental porcelain garniture – a detail I plan to replicate for a client soon.
