Overbey & Dunn is the most charming jewel-box of a boutique located in the heart of Greenwich Village here in New York City.

To keep things eternally fresh, owners Thomas Dunn (former fashion PR wiz) and model Molly Kavanagh, have taken a few cues from the fashion world, offering new and distinct themes by guest designers every three months.

For this holiday season’s incarnation, the celebrated event planner, Bronson Van Wyck brings his signature chic to Overbey & Dunn with an elegantly eclectic “Balmoral meets Arkansas” inspired “Highland Holiday.”

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I’m part Scottish, but I’m wild about tartan, and here it provides a brillaint backdrop for the super sophisticated and marvelous mix of treasures you’ll find on your visit to Overbey & Dunn.

In addition, van Wyck is offering the most terrific tree service—simply place an order “…and our elves…,” van Wyck enthusiastically exclaims, “…deliver a fully trimmed freshly cut tree, perfectly sized for your home, wrapped in thousands of lights in a sturdy base with a bespoke tartan skirt.” Oh and you can find all sorts of other decorations here—garlands, wreaths, etc., to create some effortless holiday elegance. Besides these bespoke holiday decorations, there are also lots of nifty Bronson van Wyck gifts. We’re particularly taken with his Arrowhead Farms line of cocktail mixes and salad dressings—perfect gifts for the host and hostesses out there.

As for me, Im ordering masses of van Wyck collection monogrammed tartan napkins from Overbey & Dunn, as well as an-over-the top magnolia leaf wreath, enhanced with gilding—it’s divine.

I trust that this incredibly rich photo of yours truly (top) by the very talented Julio Gaggia will get you all in the holiday spirit! Celebrating the brilliance of Bronson van Wyck and the eclectic chic of Overbey & Dunn, I’m sporting a Tom Ford era Gucci navy velvet blazer and purple cashmere turtleneck, Paul Smith black watch tartan wool pant, Tom Ford blue and green silk pocket square, vintage Rolex watch and my fragrance is Creed Epicea. Not shown, are my navy blue Gucci leather slip on shoes.
